Decade Old 501c3 -Seeking an Experienced (10 years +) Grant Writer with Expertise in Identifying/writing Grants for a Youth Driven School Initiative
Classified Ad #: 11052025BMWI’m the Co-Founder and Executive Director of a Georgia 501c3 that provides K-12 schools with a data-driven student-led initiative that inspires kindness, compassion, and positive peer influence. Over the last decade we’ve inspired hundreds of thousands of students to lead with empathy, to do what is right, not what is easy, and to support their peers when facing challenging social situations. Our platform revolves around a dynamic video series featuring young people close in age to the viewer sharing real experiences – tackling topics like bullying, exclusion, stress, anxiety, peer pressure, and stereotypes. But it’s not just talk – they also offer practical advice on how to navigate these challenges. And it works! Since 2021, (our) schools across the state have reported a notable drop in student misbehavior, as evidenced by a significant reduction in student misbehavior. In fact, the fourth largest school district with 28 schools involved in our program experienced a substantial decline in student misbehavior from 2021 to 2023. Compared to the 82 schools not in the program, bullying incidents in our schools decreased significantly: 95% in elementary schools, 77% in middle schools and 91% in high schools! Because of this success, that district doubled its participation this year and is considering a district-wide rollout by 2026–27. And, after a 20-minute Zoom call with the Chief of Staff with the Georgia DOE, we submitted an RFI in September - very exciting!
We would like to know your fee to write a grant. We look forward to hearing from you.
