• Our new nonprofit theatre group whose mission statement is to provide immersive theatrical experiences through the use of site-specific staging for our community at an affordable price, while paying all cast, creatives, and crew equally. Like our name suggests, we make our theatre by going into non-theatre spaces and taking them over for our performance purposes. Currently, we are mounting a new play which is set in a wine bar in...you guessed it, an actual wine bar! Our previous production staged about painter, in a large scenic paint shop, to give an idea of the kind of work we do. For our future productions, we are looking for a theatre-loving grant writer to join us as a primary collective member, who will participate in each one of our productions alongside our stage manager and artistic director. The distinction we make between being a theatre collective vs. a theatre company is very intentional. Our payment structure draws inspiration from pirates as well, in that each one of our productions acts as a "voyage." Everyone who is on board--cast, creatives, crew--is considered essential. They wouldn't be hired by us otherwise. For that reason, we pay everyone the same, regardless of role(s). Once production costs are met, all additional money raised through tickets/concessions/funding is split as bonus wages between that production's team, which of course includes our grant writer!

We would like to know your fee to write a grant. We look forward to hearing from you.
