Grant Writing & Foundation/Corporate Giving Proposal Development for a Nonprofit

Our nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced grant writer or consultant to manage the full grant writing process, similar in scope to the “Foundation/Corporate Giving Package” offered by some consulting firms. The project will involve: Conducting tailored research to identify at least five foundation or corporate funding prospects aligned with our nonprofit’s mission. Preparing customized grant proposals for submission to each identified funder (5 in total). Managing the entire grant lifecycle flow, including prospect research, proposal development, compliance with funder requirements, and submission-ready documents. Providing guidance on best practices and any additional materials needed to strengthen our nonprofit’s proposals. Requirements: Proven experience as a grant writer with a track record of successful funded proposals for nonprofits. Familiarity with the full grant lifecycle: prospect research, proposal development, editing, submission, and reporting. Strong writing, research, and communication skills. Specific experience working with foundation and corporate grantmakers. Deliverables: Research and list of at least five targeted foundation/corporate prospects. Completed proposals tailored for each identified funder. Brief recommendations for next steps and building/maintaining funder relationships. Note: Only freelancers/consultants with direct experience in nonprofit grant writing and demonstrated success across the full grant lifecycle should bid.
