• Project Description: We have a newly incorporated urban micro-farm based in Lansing, Illinois. Our mission is to build a scalable, regenerative food production system integrating microgreens, gourmet mushrooms, rainwater harvesting, solar power, and chef-focused CSA models. We are currently preparing to launch Phase 0.8 and are seeking a grant writer to help us identify and apply for startup, agriculture, sustainability, infrastructure, and clean energy grants at the local, state, or federal level. Current Status: Legally incorporated (EIN confirmed) Full business plan, startup budget, KPIs, and cash flow projections ready SCORE-reviewed materials and lender packages prepared Pre-revenue, but operational and build-ready All cost tracking and design documentation is complete We’re Looking For a Grant Writer Who Can: Identify grants matching our scope (urban ag, micro-farm, CSA, green energy, food systems) Write a full grant proposal package Assist with submission and edits as needed Ideally has experience with ag/food/sustainability grant writing Priority Grant Areas: Equipment or infrastructure grants Community or regional development funds Small business/startup grants (including pre-revenue) Green/clean energy grants (solar/water reuse) Food security, local food system, or chef partnership initiatives Project Files Available to the Grant Writer: Complete Business Plan (PDF) Startup Budget (Excel or PDF) Detailed SOPs, CSA model, marketing a
