Experienced Grant Writer Sought – Performing Arts Nonprofit (Contract)

A mission-driven, early-stage nonprofit performing arts organization is seeking an experienced grant writer to support strategic funding efforts, with an immediate focus on securing funding for a performance venue. The organization is developing a community-centered theatre in an underserved suburban region, with programming that includes mainstage productions, youth initiatives, and accessible daytime theatre for adults 50+. We are seeking someone who can: Identify high-fit grant opportunities Develop compelling, funder-aligned proposals Provide strategic input on positioning and funding approach Ideal candidate: Proven success securing grants (arts, capital, or community-based projects preferred) Strong writing and strategic thinking skills Ability to translate early-stage vision into competitive proposals This is a contract opportunity with potential for ongoing collaboration.
