We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional to help secure funding for the restoration of our licensed music venue and historic theatre. About the Project: Our venue combines rich history with a promising future. Once a thriving center for live music and performances, we are restoring the theatre to its former glory while enhancing its potential to serve as a modern, multi-functional space. This project aims to: Preserve the building’s historic integrity. Upgrade facilities for accessibility, sustainability, and safety. Foster a thriving arts and music scene in the community. Role Overview: We’re looking for a grant writer who will: Research and identify relevant grant opportunities (local, state, federal, and private). Develop compelling grant proposals tailored to specific funding sources. Collaborate with the project team to gather necessary information and align the proposal with our mission and goals. Track deadlines, submission requirements, and follow up on grant applications. Qualifications: Proven experience in writing successful grants, particularly in arts, culture, or historic preservation. Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills. Familiar with nonprofit or arts funding processes- a plus.
