Grant Writer is Needed by Not-For-Profit Organization to Expand Screening of Young Athletes to Prevent Sudden Death

Our organization is a Texas-based not-for-profit that performs ECG for middle school and high school athletes. We have screened approximately 300,000 athletes over the past 20 years. We are able to find individuals at risk of sudden death. Our organization is not able to go beyond ECG screening and therefore the effectiveness of our screening is limited. We need funding to advance our diagnostic testing to include genetics and cardiac echocardiograms. This will require personnel and some actual expenses although most are reimbursed otherwise. We need a minimum of $100,000 but would be extremely effective closer to $250,000
